If you live here, you already know the summer rhythm. The Saturday market on Main, a Friday concert at Town Center Park, headlights backed up on Buford Highway around 7 p.m. as everyone tries to find the same parking lot. What changed this year is harder to see from a calendar listing. The city is quietly stitching Old Town and Town Center into one continuous evening district, and the 2026 lineup is the proof of work.
That is the through-line of this summer. Two anchors are moving in opposite directions toward each other: a restaurant deal at a 1910 building in Old Town, and a new Friday concert series on the same block. By Labor Day, walking between them will feel like one trip instead of two.
The Old Town end of the story is Pierce's Corner.
